Studying at the Royal Conservatorium in The Hague with Rita Dams and Diane Forlano, later with Robin Blaze and Andrew Dalton. Tobias has performed in over 40 productions in some of the worlds best known opera houses singing with The English National Opera, Opera Australia, Scottish Opera and Opera North.

On the concert platform he has appeared with with the Sydney Symphony, Amsterdam Symphony and the Residentie Orkest of The Hague.

Tobias makes regular appearances singing oratorio works, most recently performing with Brisbane Chorale, Canticum Choir, Oriana choir amongst others.

He has appeared in three seasons of the 4MBS Classic FM Festival of Classics in the critically acclaimed ‘3 Countertenors’ concerts and most recently appearing alongside Sally Anne Russell in Opera is Born with the Queensland Baroque Orchestra under the baton of John Foster.

As a composer Tobias has created works for stage and film. most notably for Sydney Dance Company, WAAPA and QUT.

Tobias lives and works out of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in Queensland Australia.
